Les Red Wings tiennent aux services du québécois Anthony Mantha.
Ils ont prolongé le contrat de l’ailier droit de deux ans. Les modalités n’ont toutefois pas été dévoilées :

Le jeune homme natif de Longueuil fut un choix de 1ere ronde (#20 au total) lors de l’encan de 2013. Jusqu’ici les Red Wings ne regrettent pas du tout ce choix !
